I thought I would try again when my brother came to visit my again the owner / vigilant had a great attitude we ate it was good not great the owners necessary to be a little nicer to the customers instead of being mean. never again strike 3

Lackluster pad thai. I love Pad Thai. So I thought I would try Mekong seeing that they have great reviews. I have now been there twice and must say I am extremely disappointed in the pad thai I have received. It is greasy and lacks the fresh and balanced flavor pad thai should have. To make it bearable I typically add rice wine vinegar or tamarind juice (when I have it). Also, there are usually about 3 or 4 pieces of tofu in the chicken pad thai I order. I know it is a rather common mistake but it has happened both times I have gone and I could really do without the tofu.
Grease with a side of curry. Ate here for lunch. Ordered the Green Curry Chicken. Very, very salty and grease puddled unappetizingly at the end of my platter. I've heard rave, rave reviews from this place, so perhaps it was an off visit.
Chicken Masaman. It was my first time here. The chicken tasted very strange and it was a little bland. I might go back again but it's not looking good. I hope it was just a one-off issue.
