Little Italy - Midlothian

I have eaten in most Italians in and around Edinburgh and this is by far the most authentic and tasty. the menu is somewhat overwhelming, but I have tried the pastas, pizza, calf, burger etc. and all are really delicious. the pastas are fresh and the sauces have all taste depths that are lacking from most sauces in other restaurants. we eat here often, they always have at least one special. one of them was to garnish a tinted sauce that I really hope they do again. very friendly staff and seems to be family business.

Little Italy is a great place for a Sunday night meal to enjoy authentic Italian music or as a family meal for lunch or dinner. Staff are lovely and the food excellent.

I and my partner brought our granddaughter to birthday. the food was excellent. great staff. our enkelin really wants to come back for even more spaghetti bolognaise. she loved it. we thought the place was very child-friendly.

We were a few times after little italy in penicuik and it is now a more regular when we go through the opposite. great eating, excellent service and beautiful family atmosphere. highly recommended

Beautiful local restaurant with family atmosphere and friendly staff. beautifully decorated in the inner, so the place feels very cozy and welcoming. has a great Italian menu with the strange Scottish twist and a great selection of pizza, pasta and others.
