Not impressed. If a menu boasts having homemade hollandaise for their benny's, and what you get is clearly from a package - you lose all credibility in my book. Yuck. The butter tart was a good butter tart, but certainly nothing to write home about. The service is non-existent. There was two tables seated when we arrived, and three people behind the counter. The food was great, and we enjoyed dining on the charming patio. The jam was exceptional. We ordered the breakfast with three eggs, bacon, and toast, and it was delicious.
We stopped by this restaurant after a lovely walk on the Tay Shore Trail and were incredibly impressed during our first visit. The cozy atmosphere of the old home made us feel very welcome.
The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, the food is very good. I had a wrap for breakfast. Was quickly and pleasantly served a delicious hot breakfast. Would highly recommend.
