We were running late and decided to try dinner here for a change.Expected the usual "Pub Grub" but were very pleasantly surprised!I started with the Loaded Caesar and requested it extra spicy - that wasn't a problem and it was delicious, served in a funky mason jar sort of thing - great presentation.Moving on, I had the half rack roadhouse ribs and they were quite tasty and not dry; my partner had the fish tacos, whi... What User doesn't like about Kelseys Original Roadhouse:
The only good aspect of this location was the cheerful server. My fish and chips were dry and hard.Ribs was tough and stuck to the bones.Steaks that were ordered on medium rare, were well done.A waste of money, seriously, and it wasn't exactly cheap. View all feedback.
We frequently visit Kelsey's for wing night. Unfortunately, on our latest visit, our wing orders were incorrect - we had requested breaded wings, but received overcooked ones that were not crispy as requested.
Four of us were there for a birthday lunch for two of us. There was no offer of any dessert or anything. If we went to The Keg we would have been given a Billy Miner pie at least. The food and service were fine. I'm just used to getting something for free when I go to a place on my birthday because I'm cheap.
Came here on my birthday for dinner on a Tuesday with my husband. Waited for 5 minutes to be seated and decided to just go sit at the bar area tables. Waited again for 5 or more minutes for a menu. Ordered a happy hour red wine to have with dinner. Not quite what they advertise as a 5 ounce pour. More like maybe 4. Ordered a shrimp appetizer. It was good. I ordered the chicken alfredo pasta. Upon first bite the chicken was cold and I mean refrigerator cold. I asked my server if they cook the chicken ahead of time and then refrigerate it. She said yes why, to which I replied I thought so as this chicken is cold. Not room temp cold but very cold. She took it away to have it reheated while my husband ate his steak so it didnt get cold. Wasnt much better when it returned as now the sauce was dry. I guess they microwaved it.? Left half on my plate and the waitress asked my if i wanted it to go. Not very observant. Then dessert. My husband told her we were there to celebrate my 64th birthday and she brought us a free dessert. That was nice. I listened to another table have happy birthday sang to them and a little extra attention. Might sound like a poor me attitude but truthfully the service was awful and dinner not much better. All this for $116.96 for two.
I must say I always enjoy the service. The staff is constantly smiling and seem to enjoy their work. I particularly believe Chystal, Jenna and Sarah go above and beyond to make the experience incredible.
Great food at a good price great service had the burger was great will definitely back when I'm in the area again great time
