The Elotes are exceptionally flavorful! However, my experience was marred by the attitude of one of the staff members. I've been here about four times, and she has always been quite rude. It seems like she might not enjoy her job!
I wouldn't recommend stopping here for a corn cup; it's just not worth the $7. The corn is tough and undercooked, and there’s no butter added. They only include corn, water, parmesan cheese, and a red chili paste. When I returned the cup because it was undercooked, they didn’t make any effort to refund my money or explain why it was like that. Instead, they acted as if they didn’t speak any English at all. When I tried speaking to them in Spanish, they pretended not to understand me either. Eventually, I just tossed it in their trash bin.
The chili in the Elote was delicious. Did it really put up a notch! In any case, the Churros will try again.
