I came here to pick some food up for myself and coworkers and .. o..m..g! I would give them 12 stars if I could. I got some greens, ribs, Mac cheese potato salad. Every single thing on my plate was absolutely amazing. I’m from Florida and am here for work this is definitely top 3 of all the soul food places I’ve ever had. for the first time, very disappointed. I ordered the special: 1 fried catfish, fries, garnels and kartoffel and Gravy-Mure. fish was in order, fries tasted as if they were cooked in old oil, kartoffel and gravy was evil. lemonade is not homemade, it came from a box and his tart. koolaid is good. they do not clean the tables with a disinfectant, they use glass cleaner. server has long fake nails, which harbors bacteri... This is my top choice for dining in Midland! The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, the service is outstanding, and the Soul Food is absolutely delicious!
The restaurant may be a bit slow, but it's worth the wait. It's always busy for a good reason - the food is fantastic. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault. The service, dining experience, and atmosphere all receive top ratings. Price per person ranges from $10 to $20.
Everything was amazing. I had somewhat high expectations for this place considering the reviews, and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the popcorn shrimp which was perfect and generous, as well as the fried pork chops. All of it was well flavored and again generously portioned.
