I received excellent service after being turned away from a nearby pub because I had just missed their service time. Even though the kitchen was still open, I couldn't get a meal there. However, when I came to the Greyhound, despite the chef having left for the day, the friendly bar staff were more than happy to help me out. That's what true hospitality is all about! What Louise Graham doesn't like about The Greyhound:
The food was quite enjoyable, but the staff could benefit from some basic customer service training, and a better understanding of the menu would have been helpful as well. Price per person: £10–20. Food: 4/5. Service: 2/5. Atmosphere: 3/5. View all feedback.
First visit today in this country pub. it was a good sound as good eating beer and dog friendly. we had 2 x fish chips and 1 x chicken schnitzelburger, all very tasty. we had 2 drinks each having a dark chocolate dessert (amuse! the bill was £62 for 3 people. 5 but had been 1 star for lack of allergens on the menu, although waitress went and in the kitchen when asked about dishes.
A group of 15 of us on motorcycles rocked up here for lunch. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was good, and reasonably priced. Lots of outdoor seating with blankets provided. Excellent.
We had a fantastic Sunday lunch here. The meal looked amazing and tasted wonderful. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be going back.
Lovely little pub with friendly welcoming staff. Went as a party of 4 for an evening meal. Schnitzel burgers were fantastic. Menus choices and prices are great as is the venue.
Just had a fantastic Sunday lunch here! Beautifully cooked roast pork served with all the trimmings. A great meal at an excellent price and served with big smiles. Can't fault it!
