Pretentious, fussy, expensive, and the customer service is extremely poor. With the word sweet in the name of your business, I expected a totally different experience . I absolutely adore this place and can't wait to return! I tried the Watermelon Mint and Berry Refreshers, and they were absolutely delicious! And the cookies—oh my goodness, the cookies! I'm obsessed with them; they're so adorable! P.S. I nearly forgot to mention that we also got a birthday cake, and it was just as cute!
Melissa and her team created the most amazing cake for my son?s birthday!! My expectations were high, but she and her team exceeded them a hundred times over. Not only did the cake look amazing, it tasted even better! I have a family full of pickycake eaters and I can never seem to purchase a birthday cake that pleases the entire crowd, but that finally changed this year.Everyone loved it! The attention to detail blew my mind too! The cake was an Avengers theme and they went above and beyond toplace the corresponding symbols for each avenger next to each section of the cake! Thanks a million times over to Melissa andher team for such an amazing cake!
So I stopped here thinking it was just a little coffee shop. It is one of the nicest bakeries I've seen. They have something for everyone. Gluten free, nut free, vegan, bubble tea, coffee. Plus it's a one stop birthday shop. Tiered cakes to go, candles,locally made birthday cards and candle packs. They even have some body sugar scrubs for sale and dog treats. I'm sure I'mmissing things. It's very welcoming and modern. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious. Lots of parking and indoor oroutdoor seating.
If you have a sweet tooth, this is the perfect place to visit. They offer a wide selection of baked goods, including everything from cupcakes to large round cakes and cake rolls, making it a haven for dessert lovers. They also have flavored coffee with a variety of options, including some sugar-free syrups for those who prefer them. There's a cozy lounge area where you can enjoy a snack, as well as outdoor tables right outside the front door for those lovely weather days. The young lady behind the counter was incredibly courteous and kind, making the experience even more delightful.
Since then, I've turned to Sweet Melissa’s for all kinds of occasions, from custom cakes and cupcake cakes for my kids to various holiday sweets and treats. I've even made special requests for two dozen sugar drop cookies just for myself! It's been wonderful to watch Melissa grow her business, moving from her home to a charming little house on Shallcross, and now to her current location. Thank you for all the delicious treats!
