Steak 'n Shake - Middletown

It has been a while since we entered Steak 'n Shake. The last time we were there, a wait staff has to take your order and deliver the food to your table when it is ready. We didn 't have a great experience back then so we would just order using the drive-thru.They have changed the inside now into a fast food place where you order your food and sit down anywhere. The service was fast and their burgers were great. We will go back more often here as I like their burgers better than the other fast food options in the area.

Decided to go to Steak n Shake for lunch. Ordered a chili dog combo. When I got home (2 mins away) this is my hotdog that was accompanied with cold fries and a flat coke.I immediately took the order back and asked for the manager and she greeted me with do you want a refund with no apology and had the nerve to tell me to have a blessed day.I will not spend another penny at this location. Check your food before you go!!!!

Went around lunch time only 1 person eating inside. Was not greeted in a friendly manner. It seemed like we bothered him by interrupting something else he was doing. Ordered. Food took a bit but still faster than a normal restaurant. Burgers were ok not memorable same with fries. The shake was ok as well. I understand staffing is an issue everywhere. Hopefully management is doing their best to appreciate the people that do show up. It starts at the top. If your employees look miserable and don’t want to be there your customers start to feel the same way. I hope that things turn around and I can give this place another shot down the road

I would not give them a one star if I did t have to to write the review. Disgusting!!! This restaurant is so dirty it should be shut down. The bathroom toilet looked like it had never been cleaned and the floor was visually dirty! The food was ok but now I wonder what the kitchen looks like. Call the health department!

Stopped by specifically to buy seasoning Apparently they haven't had seasoning for a couple of weeks now. There's a shortage or something The fanta tastes like orange sparkling water. Don't recommend Very quiet inside. Lots of seating available
