Nico's Italian Grill - Middletown

The best part about Nico's is that they offer gluten-free pizza, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end for me. Every time I try their pizza, it leaves my stomach feeling awful. Additionally, the customer service leaves much to be desired, and the wait time for your food is uncomfortably long.

This is a great cozy spot with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The thin crust pizza is tasty, but I can’t say the same for the calamari—I tried it twice and found it to be quite tough both times. It’s a nice touch when the owner comes by to say hello.

My favorite pizza is their award-winning s'mores pizza! The staff is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is also clean, which is always a bonus!

Espresso martini by request, calamari w buffalo sauce by request shrimp francesse all on point. Waitress was wonderful, attentative but not overbearing. Owner/chef came out to say hi make sure all was well. Very happy overall w all service food.
