The hash browns were greasy and t... read more Breakfast was quite disappointing. The biscuits were overcooked to the point that our plastic knife couldn't cut through them. The hash browns were greasy and tasted excessively of oil. The coffee was extremely weak, resembling a light tea in color. We ended up leaving everything uneaten. I might as well have given the $20 to someone in need on the street. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, making noise by banging on the biscuits, she simply offered me a piece of cake without any mention of a refund. I would advise against dining here unless you’re looking to waste your money. Contrary to your response, there was no refund offered, just that slice of cake or a frozen coffee drink. It's disappointing to see such dishonesty.

Whenever my family and I travel out of town, we love to dine at places like this because they're quaint and filled with friendly people, and Mockingbirds was exactly that.
