Crooked Hammock in Middletown is one of two locations (the other is in Lewes). They have a really nice location with plenty of seating (both indoor and outdoor), and plenty of fresh air in nice weather. The food is good and the staff is friendly. The beer is just okay by Delaware Craft Beer standards so if that is the primary reason you are going, there are better options. If however, you are looking for a fun place... View all feedback.
What Joannie Adams White doesn't like about Crooked Hammock Brewery:
Service is good. Friendly and timely. The food was just meh. I had the shrimp and corn salad. Wasn’t worth $20+. My wife had old Bay butter wings that had no taste. And my nephew had the meatloaf sliders that he said was cool. The drinks were decent.Kid-friendliness: Cute if u have kids View all feedback.
Great service I want to say “Travis” was his name. We came in with a party of 5 my kids included. Food was good, loved our server though! In case I got his name wrong the date was9/8/23 around 5pm!

Solid selection of craft beer and food was delicious. Highly recommend the meatloaf sliders. They were unbelievable. Outdoor seating area with games, hammocks, etc with lots of shade made for a great visit.
I went here with my kids and sister. My son (16 yrs) had been before and recommended it. It was a full house and we had to wait for a table. The wait was only 15 minutes or so. Our server came quickly for our drink order. Our food arrived in a timely manner. My daughter (15 yrs) and I ordered the crab dip, which came with pretzels. The crab dip was good. I would give it a B-, however the pretzels were hard and looked burnt. I don't know if that was the way they were supposed to be or not but they didn't taste good either. Our server was attentive and polite.Wheelchair accessibility: The area where we ate was not wheelchair friendly. There would be a lot of excuse me's and chair moving.
Went with a large group of family. We sat outside and the littles had fun playing on the playground and sitting on the hammocks. I ordered the street corn nachos and they were really really good! I would definitely order them again. My husband ordered the brussel sprouts and cornbread so we shared a little of everything and it was great.Vegetarian options: There were a few good vegetarian options! I am plant based and I didn't have any trouble finding something good to have.Kid-friendliness: I went with family and we had 6 littles under the age of 7 and they all had a great time playing outside! The kids menu is solid too, they all ate everything
