Bakery Plus has garnered a reputation for its delectable cakes and reliable service, earning loyal customers who rave about the moist texture and exceptional quality of ingredients. Many commend the friendly staff and thoughtful communication, particularly when it comes to custom orders. However, the bakery's stringent mask policies and customer interactions have drawn criticism, with some patrons finding the service rude and unprofessional. Despite these setbacks, Bakery Plus remains a go-to for those seeking delicious baked goods, showcasing a blend of quality confections and a commitment to customer health—making it a notable contender in Middletown’s bakery scene.

The cakes at this restaurant are truly amazing, and the family that runs it is incredibly charming! They always make you feel welcome and are happy to customize your order. I highly recommend the cannoli cake with whipped cream – it is simply delightful! We enjoyed it so much that we devoured it before we could even take a photo.

I ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter's birthday, and it was a hit with everyone. We will definitely be ordering from this place again in the future.

The staff at Bakery Plus are excessively focused on Covid precautions and are quite disrespectful to customers who may not be aware of their strict rules. It feels as if they are still in March 2020, taking pleasure in reprimanding those who don’t adhere to their beliefs. If you’re so anxious about Covid in 2022, perhaps running a business open to the public isn’t the right fit. The only thing I enjoyed at this restaurant were the linzer tarts, but the hassle isn’t worth a return visit. I would not recommend this establishment.
