Reviews - The Bake Two
Reviews summary
Bake Two offers a mixed bag of experiences, with some diners raving about their amazing food and friendly service, while others left disappointed by lackluster dishes and slow service. Inconsistent quality of food is a concern, with some patrons loving the authentic tastes of Lebanon, while others found their meals barely edible. The ambiance of the restaurant seems to be pleasant, leaving some satisfied and content. Overall, Bake Two seems to have potential but may need to focus on improving consistency across all aspects of the dining experience to truly impress all customers.

What James Helm dislikes about The Bake Two:
Got some food delivered as reviews looked good. But they must be fake reviews. The food was disgusting, looked like they'd emptied the bin onto a plate.30£ we spent. True taste of the Lebanon wow . Never again Food: 1 Service: 3 View all feedback.

I never leave disappointed when I visit this place! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are very friendly. The only downside is that they no longer allow you to bring your own alcohol, but that didn't stop me from giving Bake Two a top rating. We didn't know about the policy change, so we ended up drinking our own alcohol outside. They even provided us with plastic glasses and a corkscrew!
Whenever you visit Bake Two, you can trust that you will leave feeling satisfied and content! They offer delicious, freshly made food with a friendly service. They have all of my favorite dishes like halloumi, falafel, and amazing hummus, served with freshly baked bread. This is one of our go-to places to eat in town, whether it's day or night.
I come to this restaurant every week and we always get the same dishes. The food is consistently amazing, freshly prepared and reasonably priced. The Lebanese bread is outstanding and made fresh. Our usual order consists of 3 breads, 1 spicy hummus, and 1 mixed grill with chips. This is the best restaurant I have been to in Middlesbrough, and the owner is a friendly and humorous guy.
Few of us went for some food before watching dune . group included 2 vegis and a very fussy beige eater. Everyone was happy and fed enough, place has a very chill feel .
Arrived at the restaurant asked for a menu. We were told off and ordered to take a seat. Chef with long brown beard sarcastically laughed and did not sound polite at all. We thought ok we will brush it off. Waited 1hr and half for food, for every meal that we were choosing the waitress wasnt sure about the names of meals or contents. Food had too much lemon, salt and was bitter. chef was rough and told us to stuff the british law, told us to f* off and didnt need us as customers. He went into a rage when we discussed work discount enquiry. Continously swearing whilst banging the till. Ordered the workers to continue working and not stare at him. Surely this amounts to abuse, harassment and for the sake of business, the chef MUST GET FIRED! What a horrible experience. I even lost it and told him that I felt sorry for the woman that would get married to him cause she will be forever abused!! What a night!!Spoilt PLEASE FIND BETTER RESTAURANTS !!!with good service and reputation not this rubbish!

I've ordered take out from here a few times. The first time I was amazed by the quality and the quantity of the food. It was genuinely the best middle eastern food I'd ever had in Boro. Tonight's order, a shawarma that came with chips for 12 quid was so so disappointing. Luke warm and not with the flavour I'd previously experienced. Fingers crossed they up their game but I'll never know because I won't be ordering again
Well, yeah what more can i say. Absolutely outstanding food. Great service and awesome food. First time I've called in, I'll definitely be back to sample another outstanding meal. The mixed grill i had was second to none.
The best restaurant I have ever been into since I came to the UK since last January. Most if the dishes are delicious for a decent price compared to other middle eastern restaurants I went to in the UK. The best Shawarma anyone would ever try! 5 Stars for a quite cheap price!
We visited here recently and were very disappointed after we had been wanting to try here for a while. We waited over half an hour for food to come out even though there was only us and 1 other table eating in. When the food arrived it looked lovely. Starters which were brought out at the same time as our mains Falafel Was tasteless and only enjoyable because of the dipping sauces. Grilled Halloumi Rubbery, barely grilled and not hot. Main course 2 of us shared King the bake Mixed Grill and an additional bread. The bread was delicious. Sadly everything else was not. Nothing was hot. Some of the meat was so tough and chewy it wasn't edible my partner gave it a good try though as he doesn't waste food, and even he was defeated! Really disappointed as was looking forward to trying here :

Amazing service. excellent eating. large parts. affordable prices. clean and hygienic. friendly staff. total quality. definitely recommend and will go again.
Petite cheap Lebanese barbecues/BBQ place in teesside area ... their king bakery mixed grills and baby chicken grills are our favorites. even if their service is quite bad, they have calculated it for additional 10% service fees, but the quality and amount of food is really good!
