Description

Nestled in the heart of Middlesbrough, this new burrito bar has stirred excitement among Mexican food lovers. Diners rave about the fresh, delicious ingredients and the vibrant flavors that evoke authenticity. While the thick, crispy burritos are a highlight, concerns about hygiene practices have emerged, particularly regarding staff interactions with food without gloves and masks. However, the friendly and knowledgeable staff have received high praise for their customer service and willingness to explain menu options. Despite mixed experiences with temperature consistency in dishes, patrons express eagerness to return, eager for another taste of the superb salsas and diverse offerings.

I stopped with a few friends today and ordered a fajita burrito with chipotle huhn and their own fire starter salsa. that was really the best mexican I ever had. I usually find myself disappointed by Mexican decision. that was fiery sky and full of taste! I loved it! and 5 stars for a hot salsa next time!

That's the most beautiful burrito I've ever had! the crushed bark breeze was amazing and the super spicy salsa is beautiful 10/10 will come back all the time!

Amazing friendly staff and the best eating all the time! obsessed with the veggie burritos

Overall enjoyed it, though it was slightly strange as the burrito was neither hot nor cold, or rather it was hot AND cold at the same time. The rice was hot, the chilli, beans salsa were all cold (from a refrigerated display) and then it was all wrapped up and mixed together. If you like your food good hot this may be a disappointment. I 'm easy, but found it odd. Still, it was very tasty and filing and i went for the stupidly hot salsa and found that it was good hot while not being truly stupid . I 'd go back.

Pleasantly surprised with this new burrito bar. Having tried a variety of Mexican restaurants in the UK, we didn 't have high expectations going in, but we found the flavours fresh and authentic. The salsa verde had a good medium spice level and tasted pleasantly of tomatillos (a rare flavour to find in the UK), although it was spicier than its American 'green sauce ' counterpart. We shared a chicken burrito the chicken had a good flavour with plenty of cumin and spice and was nice enough that we will certainly be going back to try the pork mole (which was our first choice but unfortunately sold out when we went at lunchtime). They also serve Jarritos (lime or mango), so Mexican food fans can get their soda fix.
