What Swagger doesn't like about Lucky Dragon:
Heard so many good things about this restaurant so we decided to order, worse mistake ever, all food swimming in oil, house special chow mein, no mushroom, prawns , veg, only a few onions, very oily, curry sauce swimming in oil. Worst chinese meal ever View all feedback.
Always nice food and good delivery times, some of the sides are over priced only gripe but well worth a try
I decided to try this restaurant for takeaway based on my daughter's recommendation. She had ordered from here before and enjoyed it. We ordered chicken curry with an additional side of prawns (which cost £2.50 for 5 prawns) and a special sweet and sour dish. In addition, we also ordered boiled rice, chips, and noodles for an extra charge. The food arrived on time and looked appetizing, but unfortunately, that's where the positives ended.
This is one of our go-to restaurants for takeout! We order from here very often because we love the food so much. The dishes are always hot, well-prepared, and come in generous portions. However, during peak hours, the quality can sometimes be slightly compromised (likely due to cooking in large quantities). They also host a weekly Facebook contest where you can win free food, which is a great promotion and a nice perk for the lucky winners!
This restaurant offers top-quality Chinese food with a wide range of choices. The delivery time is prompt and reliable. Give it a try!
I created an account solely to write this review. I am in shock. My Saturday night was completely ruined. The beef dish I ordered, advertised as "crispy", was nothing but a soggy, tasteless mess. The batter was so soggy that I couldn't even taste the beef, which was also chewy. I also ordered the "mini snack box", which was mostly filled with cheap, greasy chips that lacked salt and pepper seasoning. I suggest avoiding this place altogether - not only was my money wasted, but I ended up having to cook at home instead. I recommend going to Royal China down the road; they offer consistently good food at better prices. I only gave Lucky Dragon a try this one time, and I am extremely disappointed. There was nothing lucky about my experience there.
