The parmo was exceptional, and the food on offer was top-notch. However, my latest order, placed at 6 PM, was promised for delivery in 45 minutes. At 7 PM, I called to check on it, and was told it was "out for delivery." Whe... read more However, my latest order, placed at 6 PM, was promised for delivery in 45 minutes. At 7 PM, I called to check on it, and was told it was "out for delivery." When I called again at 7:30 PM and it still hadn't arrived, the only explanation I received was that they were busy. Frustrated, I asked to cancel my order. Just as I was about to give up, the doorbell rang at 7:40 PM, and it was the food. I told the delivery person that I had canceled the order and to please take it back to the restaurant. This experience deserves a negative review. If you're going to be late, the least you can do is be honest and communicate. Don’t leave customers waiting for over an hour and a half when you promised delivery in 45 minutes. You truly earned this review.
