Acklam Pubs - Feedback

Was Sofia Thomas at Acklam Pubs a mag?
A little bit rowdy but food was excellent My fish and chips with mushy peas were spot on loads of real chips too . Wife had parmo with chips and salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be going back there in the near future. View all feedback.
What Seb Poole dislikes about Acklam Pubs:
Nice enough place with a nice covered area out front and fairly cheap, 3 drinks was just over £10. But the first drink I had I noticed a few bits floating in it as I was nearing the bottom of the pint and the second pint the glass was dirty round the rim. Kinda puts u off a bit. View all feedback.

Home made steak pie and chips (without the garden peas) and gravy. It was really lovely and reasonable...I tried to place stars before but my phone through me out. Definitely a star.
Dropped in for a quick pint after work, not too bad to be honest, we left around and it was starting to get full which is always a good sign on a midweek day…. The only thing I would say is that the lighting when we were in was a little too bright and harsh, the ceiling downlighting could do with dimming a little, they sell craft beers and currently have a few offers on as well, we will return for another visit and maybe some food next time which looked nice when they were delivered it to other tables.
First visit today portions were large but food wasn't very hot. Seemed a popular place though
The restaurant offers a nice covered area out front, cheap drinks, and delicious food such as homemade steak pie and gluten-free options for coeliacs. Despite some minor issues like dirty glasses and pricey dishes, the cozy atmosphere and friendly service make it a popular spot for lunch or a quick pint after work. With reasonable prices, a variety of menu options, and accommodating staff, this restaurant is a solid choice for a casual meal with friends or family. Overall, while there are some room for improvement, many patrons enjoyed their experience and are likely to return in the future.

The food at this restaurant is consistently fantastic. They offer a variety of dishes and drinks, and are accommodating of dietary restrictions like coeliac disease. I ordered a gluten-free Sunday lunch (I recommend calling ahead) and they took great care to ensure it was safe and tasty. My family also loved their meals, despite being picky eaters.
Three of us ladies went to lunch at this restaurant. The menu had a great selection of reasonably priced options. It was quite busy, but that just added to the atmosphere. We will definitely be returning and will be recommending it to our friends.
Good selection of food but I felt prices of some things were overpriced, such as the fish and chips. The atmosphere is pleasant but so many tv's. We ordered 3 chicken parmos and a scampi. The scampi was a large portion so more expensive but when it arrived, comparing it to other establishments, it was not a large portion of scampi or chips. They were delivered to the table in a reasonable time but without cutlery which came afterwards. We could only praise the food it was very nice but when you are paying Tipsy Cow prices you expect more than a few chips in a wire basket. What's wrong with putting them on the plate? Overall I'd go again but wouldn't have it as my 1st choice. Good menu choice Nicely cooked food Some items overpriced Chip portions too small
