The service was terribly slow. She was not knowledgeable about what else you can do outside of eating. We had someone with Celiac's and someone with a peanut allergy and she was tentat with responding. The food was very good. The drinks were also good. It was fun taking a ski lift rude and playing disc golf. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Fire Pits At Powder Ridge:
Arrived for our reservation and the fire pits were being used for a private event so we were asked to go eat inside and come back later if we wanted to do s’mores. Ended up eating inside with mediocre food and no apologies or accommodations from management. Won’t be returning. View all feedback.
Fire at the Ridge is without a doubt my top choice for dining. The food quality and ambiance are ideal for a cozy dinner with friends or colleagues. The fire pit seating is particularly enjoyable for spending an evening with friends, sharing stories and savoring a delicious meal. Although the service may experience some delays on busy nights, the staff is always welcoming and attentive, and the food and drinks are definitely worth waiting for!
So we were able to book a reservation for 7:30 and got there to learn that the kitchen closed at 7:00. It was very disappointing and we had to find another place to eat. If you cannot accommodate the reservation then don’t allow it to be booked. It’s pretty simple. Very disappointed!!
The gentleman who helped my party light our fire pit was super nice and very helpful. He even threw our food trays away. Other than that, the service was horrible. This was our first coming here, so we were a bit lost and every staff person seemed to not know anything. The lady I checked in with gave me my receipt and didn’t explain where to go next, no direction at all.
Very disappointing experience. Four different people who worked on the property did not know basic information about how to get service to the reserved fire pits, where to buy lift tickets, among other things. We made a reservation for a fire pit and there was no wood to burn, no service and the few hours we were there, not one server came by our fire pit. The location of the fire pits are not ideal, and our particular fire pit was surrounded by 4 inches of mud. We had to order all food and drinks by walking to the bar and bringing everything in to go bags down to our fire pit... it was a waste of time and money.
Would not recommend. There is no table service, have to order at counter. Menu is very limited and they were out of several items. We ordered s'mores and they informed us they could only provide graham crackers and marshmallow, no chocolate. It took over 60 minutes for them to bring us snack type foods (pretzels, nachos, chili). Would recommend the restaurant, fire on the ridge, over eating at this establishment.
