I haven't enjoyed tasty Indian cuisine since I left DC, so my expectations for this place were pretty low. I was pleasantly surprised! The food was truly outstanding! The service wasn't the best but the food was kind of disappointing. Everything was hot and fresh, except the Naan seemed undercooked and was definitely bland. Samosas and pakora left a lot to be desired, too. Honestly, it was all edible, and nothing was bad, but I wouldn't spend more money here. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options View all feedback.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Vermont. Service could be better, but the food and location make up for this. Really the best tasting Indian in the state as far as I know.
After having lived here for a while, I think this is one of my favorite restaurants in Vermont. The food is delicious and well priced and delicious. The service is good, and the food is also delicious. It has its own kind of back alley vibe, and the food is, well, delicious.

Can’t say enough good things about this spot—a hidden gem within the hidden gem of Middlebury. My favorite Indian restaurant even after living out of state in several places. The food is incredibly delicious and the menu is varied but executed well every time for each item whether for take-out or dine-in. The restaurant itself is a wonderful place for an intimate dining experience—quiet, with a nice view of the falls. Everyone on staff is so friendly and helpful, and they make the online ordering experience totally seamless. Tindia has always been a favorite!
