Should have been much, much better. Surprisingly poor, in fact. My dinner partner's meal was served lukewarm, and, despite the fact that it was the day's special, was reportedly tasteless, and honestly, the presentation did not look particularly appetizing. We received outstanding hospitality during our visit! The rooms were stunning, and the food and wine at Jessica's Restaurant were truly exceptional. It felt as though we had been regular diners instead of first-timers. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Rating: Rooms: 5, Service: 5, Location: 5.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and well-appointed. The location is perfect—just a short stroll from downtown Middlebury. You can easily park your car and walk to all the charming shops. Dining at the restaurant is a truly delightful experience. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 5, the service a 5, and the location a 5. Highlights of the hotel include its luxurious atmosphere, stunning views, romantic ambiance, and peaceful surroundings.
Very cute b&b! Only complaints were our king bed was two twins pushed together (and the gap was noticeable) and the shower was very small, even for one average sized adult. Very friendly service, excellent location, and excellent breakfast! Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 5
Rooms: Good size and comfortable pillows. Please note that the rooms in the gatehouse are located on Route 7 and may experience some traffic noise, while the main house and carriage house are much quieter. Nearby activities: Close to Middlebury College, museums, and more. Walkability: An easy stroll to the college and town center. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic, Quiet.
