Silver Moon Diner - Middle River

Food cane out pretty fast but thats where the service ended. The waitress didn't ask to refill our drinks until we were done eating. The food didn't have much flavor but edible. The deserts looked delicious but lunch was so bad we decided not to try them and disappoint ourselves. Furthermore the waitress didn't even ask if we would be interested.

I ordered the cream of crab and a burger. Burger was very good, but the cream of crab was off the charts! Without a doubt, this was the best I've ever tasted. So much so I had to bring a bowl home for the next night. Excellent. Could go for some right now. Amanda, was our server and she was great at anticipating our needs. All in all a very nice dinner.

The food was delicious, the place was clean . The waiter was good but what I felt that wasn't good was the waiter complaining about a customer on the floor in front of many other customers. If I was a manager I would have pulled him into the office and spoken to him about this. People come in to enjoy the good food and atmosphere not listening to a worker. Complaining about another customer, that looks bad for the restaurant. Prices were not too bad because you get so much food and price is what it is for the way things are today.

Classic old style diner with comfy booths and chrome everywhere. Food is great and the staff is friendly and competent. I had a side Greek salad with my chicken gyro, and the gyro was so big I could have made 2 meals out of it! Baked goods looked fantastic, but I'm watching my waistline: My honey had breakfast for dinner,and his 2 eggs looked like 3, the pile of bacon was huge and so was the waffle. All that with 2 beers ran about $38.00.

My visit at the Silver Moon Diner was great! 1. I chose the perfect time of day on a Saturday mid morning just before lunch. Nonetheless I had no delay in getting a table. The Hostess was friendly and likewise my waitress. Overall my service experience was great, but regarding the food, I gave it 4 stars because the home fries lacked flavor and were grilled (blackened-close to burned). Suggested to the Cashier-Hostess that they could use some seasonings and onions. My garden vegetable omelet with feta cheese was perfect and quite tasty!!! I will return. 5.20.23
