On Thursday, April 28, 2022, I purchased an eat-in meal at Bakeout in Hassocks. When I asked a female staff member for salt, she informed me that Bakeout does not provide salt to customers because their meals are already seasoned with enough salt. First time to BAKEOUT and this is MUST It’s the cutest little bakery with delicious bakes. The marmite cheese straws and apple danish are to die for, The service me and my friend received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.
Popped in today for the first time. Amazing fresh bread. The cinnamon swirl danish was one of the best ever. Still got to try my sausage roll but if it tastes as good as it looks I won’t be disappointed. Very friendly staff. I will definitely be making this a regular place to visit when I’m in hassocks.
Popped in to stock up on a few essentials. The look, ambiance, smell and eveything about the place was very appealing and I would happily recommend it and will very happily return
Popped in for lunch with my daughter. We enjoyed sitting outside. Great meal deal of sandwich, crisps and drink for £3.00. Cheese and spring onion sandwich delicious. Tiffin tasted fabulous. Will defintely return.

The croques, especially the mushroom and spinach one, are absolutely delicious. The savoury pastries, like the cheese and onion pasty, are always a hit. I never would have thought to go to a bakery for coffee, but the coffee at Bake Out is really tasty as well. The only downside for me is the veggie sausage roll, which I have tried multiple times and always find to be dry and crumbly. However, there are plenty of other options to choose from so it's not a major issue.
