Was Anonym at Norman's a mag?
Somewhat out of the town centre.....but well worth tracking down. Had to ask the locals for directions [Bury Street] .....was on holiday from Oxfordshire. Small shop but very clean. Fish Chips were of excellent quality....not overcooked and soggy. Will be my first choice when in the area again. Keep up the good work. View all feedback.
What Dave T dislikes about Norman's:
I am really surprised at the 4 5 star ratings. Maybe I have been unlucky but I have had cod chips from them 3 times and every time it was literally dripping fat from it. Shouldn't have gone back a 2nd 3rd time but I had hoped that it would have improved. Really greasy. Shan't be using them again. View all feedback.
Had to travel a few miles to get to the shop but well worth it as way better than our local chippy. Delicious, perfectly cooked fresh fish, and chips were delicious, neither too greasy or soggy. No hesitation in returning in the future.

Absolutely vile!! Very soggy and cold. Chips were Undercooked. Huge disappointment would not recommend
