Trawlers Catch - Mid Devon

I had a chicken chip and cheese wrap and really enjoyed it. service was good and we were not waiting long. it's on the high street, so the parking lot is a bit hit and miss. only critique is a small one. at the lower end of the packaging the chips were thin and crispy. well, if that's what you like, but I don't prefer them so. but that's just me! eating was delicious and very cheap. called four stars because of the parking space and what felt like a somewhat smaller selection than a regular chip shop.

Large fish and chips all cooked to so no soggy fish. ok, you need to wait a bit, but it is worth waiting for. don't order the big cod unless they're really hungry because they don't sweat over big. big selection at others dingen instead of ok just fish and chips.

Two cod and chips, yummy. Too much for me but hubby ate the lot. Cooked to order. Excellent covid signs and precautions. Order inside, one person, wait outside. Certainly recommend.

If you don 't want to find out until you get home that you 've been given a very THIN looking piece of COD, that was meant to be large size, I would highly recommend another 'chippy '. BARELY ANY CHUNKY FLAKES OF FISH! Even the medium size had slightly more 'white fish flakes, ' when this item was also lacking in fish quantity!! We have used many other F C shops across the County and Country and this is by far the worst. A member of our group (in the catering business) ; felt in their opinion that the FISH supply is NOT fresh! I tried to address the matter with various members of staff, but sadly they came across as totally unbothered and rude. From our experience, they are clearly cheating customers in the quantity and quality of fish for the price, compared to what you can actually get far better elsewhere.
