Landlord was accommodating, helpful and go... read more Lovely pub (proper pub) close to where we were staying. Had a couple of pints of their local real ale which was good. Landlord was accommodating, helpful and good to talk with Our food was served in good time and we were unable to find fault with any of it. The pub is dog friendly and our Springerpoo Mollie was able to sit with us at our table In all a lovely couple of hours at a nice pub in good company We travelled from Wales for a short break so its unlikely we will return but what a gem all the same

Complete waste of money. Straight from the freezer into the fryer. So unhealthy. I had 'gammon steak 'supposedly .This was full of fat and cooked so hard so that the fat could not be seen. This is not gammon steak sorry.
