We visited knightshayes national trust house with two of our grandchildren, where there was a long waiting queue for a limited selection of vegan foods to midda... read more We visited knightshayes national trust house with two of our grandchildren, where there was a long waiting queue for a limited selection of vegan foods to midday, so we found cafe banana on happy cow and are so glad that we did. Although the caffe looked quite “rustic” from outside, the friendly owners produced a really tasty and interesting food, which made a special cheese and spinat toastie for our 4 year old granddaughter. our aubergine and cucumber stew was delicious, served with full grain rice, and there was a good choice of cake for dessert with good coffee. highly recommended.
