Always stop at Ashtons when in Crediton as the location on the square is lovely, the staff pleasant, the service quick and the prices exceptionally modest in fact the other people in our party of four thought the bill was a mistake as four coffees and a toasted tea cake were just £6 and they are used to paying that for two coffees. Nice to see that the high standards have been maintained over the years. View all feedback.

Food was disgusting, don't know how they pass their food inspections. Prawns on Jacket Potato impossible to eat so putrid. When I complained they said thanks for letting them know. Please do not eat here. View all feedback.
This café is situated in a charming location. It is beautiful to sit outside and enjoy the view of the square. It is also the most affordable option compared to the other nearby restaurants.
This restaurant is clearly a favorite among locals. They have a nice outdoor seating area on the square. The coffee, toasted sandwiches, and daily soup specials are all delicious. The staff are efficient and friendly, even on busy market days. The restaurant is dog-friendly, both inside and out.
This is a fantastic spot for lunch. We received a warm welcome and were presented with a menu that offered a great variety of options. The ploughman's platter was generous and well worth the price. The staff were incredibly friendly. I would definitely recommend this place, and I will definitely return if I find myself in the area again.
Back with my brother again and another 2 visits. Always good and friendly service. Excellent coffee and great value. Lovely cakes and our favourite tuna melt panini. Look forward to returning
We always love going to Ashton’s when we visit Crediton. The best cup of coffee you will get and it’s a coffee. They sell just a real, coffee! Staff are always so friendly and lovely with my two eight year olds. It’s amazing value for money and a real family favourite. Great cakes, great atmosphere, great place.
