Was Pat G at Yip a mag?
Some of the best dim sum in South Florida. Their dumplings and baos are very good. I love the shrimp baos and crab baos the most. Definitely a must try any time you visit. View all feedback.
What Lionel Lopez dislikes about Yip:
Steamed dumplings are hard to mess up. But they did. The shrimp and chive were tasteless and the wrapping dry and tough. The shrimp and chicken chili wontons tasted ok but again they were tough. Disappointed. View all feedback.

It’s something about bad service that makes you never want to go back to a place.I went here for the first time a month ago. Ordered the shrimp dumplings. I would say about 3.5/5. However the service was HORRIBLE. The girl with the purple hair served me. She was very rude and just not friendly which I believe to be important in a customer service role. Not to add that when you sign, it adds a 20 percent extra gratuity. I didn’t mind, I work in the industry and know the struggle. But when you literally sit behind a screen to type my order and then bag it and then on top have the audacity to be condescending. You deserve zero.Nonetheless, I came and returned because I was craving dumplings. I visited yesterday. My dumplings were horrible. They were over steamed. I mean just a complete waste of money. And I even found something black in one of them. TO ADD, the same girl with the purple hair.. more concerned about her own lunch than a paying customer. Please sit this little girl down and have a chat with her. She should not be in this industry with the attitude she has. If you’re truly unhappy with a job, please leave.I will not be returning to this establishment.
The food here is terrible and extremely overpriced. The reviews are misleading. The Sui Mai was burnt, and we couldn’t get in touch with anyone to request a refund. The dumplings were also disappointing. I strongly advise against buying anything here. Just look at the picture—can you believe that's supposed to be Sui Mai?
1-800 Lucky is one of my favorite places to go to the area is so nice and always clean they have a big variety of Asian food as well as dessert and a karaoke bar. The attention is really good and the service is excellent everyone's really fast to get your order and is always busy at night. Yip has really tasty food and their Boba is amazing.
Nestled inside 1800 Lucky, this restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere thanks to its spacious hall. The service was satisfactory; you place your order and wait for a buzzer to alert you when your food is ready for pick-up. I tried the shrimp bao buns, but I wasn't a fan of the fact that the tails were still attached. We ordered the pork dumplings fried, but they were served steamed instead; however, they were still quite tasty. I also had the shrimp and pork chili wontons, which typically wouldn’t be too spicy for me, but the chili oil had me reaching for a tissue! Just a heads up, they don't accept cash.
I dined at Yup at 1-800 Lucky yesterday and had a disappointing experience. I ordered three dishes for $38.75, but it didn't make sense because a service charge was already included, and my server didn't inform me of that. As a result, I ended up tipping more than necessary. While it's not a huge amount, it shouldn't have happened. The server wasn't very friendly either. Please don’t let this happen to anyone else; it feels like a scam. I'm really disappointed.

We have a strong appreciation for Asian food halls, and we discovered a fantastic spot inside 1-800 Lucky. Due to COVID-19, we were able to enjoy our meal outside on a quiet patio. We ordered the Shanghai Soup Dumplings, Char Siu Bao, and Crispy Mini Bao, which were served with a delightful condensed milk dipping sauce. Everything we tried was delicious. Although the soup dumplings were smaller than ones I've had before, they were still just as tasty. The Char Siu Bao was exceptional, and the Crispy Mini Bao offered a unique twist as a dessert. The prices are a bit on the higher side; each dish is quite small and costs around $10, so we ended up spending over $30 for what felt more like a few snacks. Nonetheless, I highly recommend visiting 1-800 Lucky, and this spot is definitely worth checking out while you're there.
The food was absolutely fantastic! We sampled a variety of dishes to explore the flavors, and everything was delicious. The atmosphere is also wonderful, so I would definitely recommend this place!
