We came to the Grove to hit the farmers market, after the farmers market we walked around exploring. It’s been a while and so much has changed. We stumbled upon Taco Way and even though we had eaten already we thought it was too cool not to stop in. We stopped in to a very empty restaurant, the staff was super friendly. We had a round of drinks only. We didn’t get to try the food though. The drinks were great and the... View all feedback.
What summersail doesn't like about Taco Way:
The chorizo queso with fried floor chips was very good and the best part of the meal. The chicken fajitas were very poor quality. Tiny pieces of chicken and mainly onions and peppers. Hard to even find the chicken. The carnitas enchiladas was a large serving and okay, not great. Service was poor even though it was not busy. Prices were average, but not for the quality. Not good. If you ever had a good horchata, don't get it here. It had a weird tangy flavor. The nachos were crunchy but it was just meh and I wouldn't get it again. The tacos were bland. Not a good Mexican spot for sure. It's a nice ambience is all. The service was good, the girl was nice and thankfully they took the horchatas off the bill.
You are still on time to find another place.Returned the chorizo and cheese and the elotes.1 star because the service was good.
This place is such a hidden gem. They are so many places to eat where coco walk is but this one is the place to go if you are feeling tacos or a margarita. The margaritas were huge and super tasty! The guacamole and wings for appetizer were soo good! And the service was great too! They have a awesome indoor and outdoor seating area and it super open and welcoming. Definitely recommend to come here if your craving tacos
This place has a great ambiance and locally owned. The strawberry margarita was delicious and recommended. I had the nachos supreme and it reminded me of being at home in Texas! They make their salsas in house, and they have excellent flavor. They had the bar tender call in and the service was excellent!
