Snappers Fish Chicken - Miami

I ordered late at night from the hotel while I was in town the evening before a cruise. The jumbo shrimp were fresh and delicious, reminding me of the wing and shrimp places back home in Chicago!

The fries served with both dinners were old and soggy, definitely not fresh. The chicken wings tasted like they had been sitting around and then refried in grease, and the shrimp and conch were neither tender nor properly cooked. Given the amount of money I spent, I'm very disappointed and would like a refund. This is the first time I’ve been truly let down by this restaurant.

The salad wasn't very good. There was too much of it, and the chicken strips were quite small.

The tartar and cocktail sauces were served in packets, but I think Snappers should consider offering homemade versions for all their sauces. My kids ordered the chicken tenders combo, and they loved it as well! The staff was incredibly friendly and kind. One of the employees even walked outside in the heat to take our order on a tablet—thank you, girl! You really are the MVP and will keep customers coming back! I showed her a picture of the conch sauce from Google, and she immediately recognized it and said, “Oh yeah, that’s our conch sauce!” I asked to add that to my order right away. Overall, the friendly staff made the experience great! Thanks, Snappers—you really nailed it with that conch sauce!

The food was good, though not exceptional. I've had better fried seafood, but I've also had worse. I wish my fish had been fried a bit crispier, but that's on me for not specifying. Overall, the meal was pretty enjoyable, and I would return if I'm ever in Florida again.
