I had the pleasure of being served by a friendly server in a cozy, family-like atmosphere. I enjoyed the Corqueta sandwich along with a coffee with milk. My food was hot and delicious, and I can’t wait to return. It's a cash-only establishment, but it's definitely worth it and not expensive at all!
The food is straightforward and comforting. Don’t expect any gourmet chefs preparing avant-garde dishes; after all, you’re in the culturally rich neighborhood of Eight Street in Miami, where tradition reigns. If you're familiar with Central American classics, you'll appreciate what they have to offer. The sandwiches are consistent with other familiar spots because, honestly, why change a winning formula? The Café con Leche tastes just as you’d expect it to, and the service is outstanding—possibly the best on Eight Street. The staff genuinely cares about your meal and preferences, making you feel welcome. The atmosphere is inviting, with the comforting presence of the walls, delicious food, and even a small 24-inch TV playing a Univision talk show in the background that draws you in. It feels like a home you didn’t realize you were missing. If you find yourself wandering down Eight Street toward Brickell, whether it's a weekend or a weekday, stop by. Order a croqueta preparada and a Café con Leche, and I guarantee that those $10 will be worth every bit of the experience. I’d even refund you if you're not satisfied! In a sea of new restaurants and chefs, Rocio stays true to its roots: comfort, good food, and great service. At the end of the day, it’s a place that truly embraces the sentiment of “Que Dios los bendiga.”
The food at this restaurant was really disappointing. The meat was dry and served lukewarm, while the yellow rice was the only decent dish we had. They did take two meals off the bill, but charging $3.00 for each bottle of water is outrageous—five bottles added up to $15! This place is a total tourist trap. I strongly advise against eating here! On a positive note, the music was good and my beer was cold. Just stay away!
When a restaurant offers great food and excellent service, you can count on me to keep coming back. This cafeteria is my favorite spot for breakfast. The food is absolutely delicious—it tastes divine! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed at my table. The owner was also very welcoming to all customers.
