What Juanita Quiroga doesn't like about Pollo Tropical:
The churrasco trio was not worth the price. It was nothing like what was advertised. The meat portions were extremely small and hardly resembled actual meat. The chicken was overcooked and dry, especially the dark meat. The sausage was too spicy for my liking. I will not be purchasing this dish again and would not recommend it to others. Terrible service. Never fails. Missing items, wrong items, employees are either stoned out of their minds or just don't care to simply do their jobs. They always seem lost... Food quality sucks. Everything is rushed, not the tastiest. Pathetic work ethic. Check out the quesadilla wrap, the cheese hasn't even melted lol.

The worst Pollo Tropical in all of Miami, you ask for an order and they serve you when they want, they never comply with the Schedule. Today I made an order online and supposedly it should have been ready by 8:30 pm, I arrived at the place at 8:25 pm and at 9:15 pm they still hadn't started making my order, after protesting about my order, they started making it and no longer They had chicken, imagine that Tropical Chicken without Chicken, so when I call the manager and he responds very hypocritically that he was going to give me a refund of the order. Well I do not recommend this Pollo Tropical at all and I do not think there is much difference with the others.
The staff at this location needs to be retrained or replaced. TERRIBLE service. This is not the first time I?ve had a negative experience with this same person. The previous time she had a nasty attitude as well but I figured I?d try again, maybe she was having a bad day. The woman at the drive-thru had an attitude the entire time from when I ordered (she was huffing and puffing In the microphone like she?s annoyed that I?m ordering food) to when I received my food. Not only did she get the order wrong, she was debating me about what I ordered. She was not listening while I ordered and she wasn?t listening when she was trying to debate me. According to the receipt her name was Beatriz. She was maybe Dominican or South American. That lady should sincerely never work in anything customer service. I will Never go back to this place. The food was mediocre. Not good enough to torture myself again with the horrible service experience.
This is the third time we've been to Sweetwater Pollo Tropical, they have no chicken again! Isn't Chicken what they're famous for? And the cashier has a very bad attitude( and she's the manager). They don't seem to want to work and they give you the wrong food and when we complain they get an attitude. The man that didn't speak Spanish got a serous attitude from the girl that was serving him. She was speaking very loud in spanish saying why can't he speak English and I told her because we are in USA and the one that has to speak English is you not him. These restaurants in Miami should have cashiers and managers that speak both English and Spanish. If I could give it a 0 I would. We left and went somewhere else where there is respect for customers.
