We went at 4:00 on Saturday and the line wasn't too long. The Carne Asada burst with taste, although the meat was not a prime cut. The Carne Asada is best eaten while fresh after we bring it home and later on the day it was hard. The queso frito was also a surprisingly delicious supplement to the meal I never thought possible. The curtains and beans were also very good. Overall, this place is good for some cheap dish... View all feedback.
What Anthony Louis doesn't like about Pinolandia:
The steak is great. But they are so freaking stingy with their hot sauce. Like come on people!!! We order 6 order of steaks at a time and they don’t give us a single hot sauce unless we beg. And 100% of the time they will not give you hot sauce if you order delivery. You guys owe me like 80 hot sauces and I want them. Tell your boss we need to make a deal View all feedback.
As a loyal customer for 12+ years, I hate to leave a review like this but I need to warn others about the food. Ive always ignored the fact that all the meat sits in a garbage can to season, leaving pieces of meat on the bottom to rot and possibly contaminate the rest of the meat. I have watched the food progressively decline in quality. Carne asada that was once supple, moist, and tender now just mimics the texture of wood chips. Dry probably left too long in the garbage cans with the marinade. This past week I decided to treat myself to a plate of gallo pinto, carne asada, and queso frito with maduros: the usual meal combo that I would order. The previous time ordering was below the standard of what I was used to with their food but I decided to give it another chance, the price is good for a pretty large portion of food (for me atleast) you are served so its usually one of the options I pick for a work lunch that I can usually save for dinner. Id say its pretty hard to f up a gallo pinto so I cant complain about that, the maduros were tasty as well. But the CARNE. WOOD CHIPS!!!! so dry and difficult to even swallow. After forcing myself to sit through a few pieces, I really couldnt take it anymore and abandoned my meal. I thought it was just one of those days that my meal disappoints me. A few hours later, my entire body is cramping and weak. I am aching at my head and stomach. While Im at work I cannot even function. I got food poisoning!!!!! I am still in bed a day later, trying to keep water down even have a bite of some fruits my caring lover brought for me to feel better. I am so upset and will not be returning for their food ever again. Ive been cursing the moment I thought of the idea to pick up a meal here. I see a lot of great reviews and I too once enjoyed this establishment but not being able to get out of bed from how weak my body is now. I will never let their food down my throat again. BE WARNED!!
By far the Best Nicaragua food ever. This restaurant has some many selection and variety of drinks. I love it.
Wow, the Gallo pinto with carne asada and queso frito its the best. Very nice food. Excellent services.
Whenever I visit Miami, I always make a point to stop by Pinolandia. It's hands down the best fritanga in the city! The flavors are just out of this world, and the portion sizes are so generous that my husband and I can easily share a plate. It's impressive how much it's changed over the years. What used to be a little hole in the wall has transformed beautifully. They've added a seating area, making the ambiance really nice and inviting. My go-to order is their carne asada, gallo pinto, tajadas, fried cheese, and the Cole salad. Every bite is just heavenly. Omg, so delicious! Good thing they are open 24 hours, you can go anytime.
Be aware that there's always a line to order food at this restaurant. In my opinion it's worth the wait though. La comida es muy buena. Ahora agregaron una sección adentro donde te puedes sentar a comer. I think it's a good Nicaraguan restaurant to eat at. It's been around for a little while now.Food: 5/5
