"I ordered Haitian spaghetti and, when it was time to pay, I ended up swiping my card twice. The cashier told me that the first transaction didn’t go through. When I showed her my banking app as proof that I was charged twice, she denied it."
I tried this place a couple of times and it was nothing special. The rice was dry, and while the pork portion was decent, they had cold chunks of pork at the bottom with just a few hot pieces on top. It felt like they were trying to get rid of the old pork. On the bright side, the pickles were great and the plantains were good.
It was my first time trying Haitian food and it won't be my last. Everything was delicious. We had the pork, fried turkey, rice and beans and black rice and beans. The food was well seasoned. Make sure you get extra sauce it's so good on the meat and also on the beans.
