I'm so glad I gave him a second chance! The steak was great, an extensive wine collection, the apps were all fantastic, but the main character was absolutely the Caviar baked potato. The service was also great, they were really at the point of this time, but it could also have been because of the company I was with.

One thing I noticed is that the room is very small, not much space to go around, even to the bathroom and back. The bathroom itself was small with only two stands. But the food was absolutely delicious. In any case, our money is worth it. Everything we ordered was as described in the menu and was full of taste. My girls sucked the bones! The drink was perfect and our server was very nice. He even had a spotlight for me to make my pictures for my blog! Love it. We had a great time and really enjoyed our experience. We will definitely return and recommend it to our friends and family.

When we arrived, we were informed that our table was being prepared and were asked to wait at the bar. That was fine, but over the next 20 minutes, multiple staff members told us we needed to move, claiming we were in the way. One even remarked, "You're not ordering a drink, and we need you to move for customers who will." We would have happily moved, but there was nowhere else to go and our table wasn’t ready. After 20 minutes, we inquired about our table and were told it would likely take another 30-40 minutes. They pointed out the table they intended to seat us at, but the party there was still browsing the menus, so it was clear they wouldn't be finishing anytime soon. Frustrated, we decided to leave, and the manager's only response was, "You're going to leave?!" Of course, we were leaving! We had an 8:30 reservation and it was now 9:00, with no sign of our table being ready soon. We ended up going next door to Milos, where the service was excellent and the food was fantastic. If Papi Steak wants to be regarded as a high-end restaurant, they really need to improve their customer service.

That said, if you come here for the food only you’re in the wrong place. This is one of the best places to see celebrities, celebrity-wannabes, wealthy customers, and people who wish they were wealthy. The interior is cool and the place is rather small. Music is loud but nobody comes here to try to have a business dinner, and if you do you’re in the wrong place. We found it hilarious to watch the $1000 steak shows (they sell a lot of them), with all its fanfare and commotion. We didn’t try one of them as we already had dinner elsewhere. We did have the appetizer equivalent and it was delicious. And overpriced. The staff is excellent. In spite of not being regulars here we felt at home right away. The bartenders are exceedingly nice and helpful, and also interested in hearing other versions of their own cocktails. They were very professional and made our visit great. We will come back next time we visit the area. For the scene, and also for the food and drinks.

Very dark inside with loud music but definitely needed to set the tone and make it a very exclusive and private experience. Gave me south Asian vibes.
