Palapa - Miami

I was informed by the restaurant to cancel a few hours before our reservation, and then they went on to claim that I was the one who made the reservation. I didn’t leave because they had canceled us, but this is clearly poor business practice. I will not be returning to this establishment nor will I recommend it to anyone.

I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is fantastic and it's definitely a unique experience. It's not really a sit-down dinner spot; I'd describe it more as a tapas-style venue. If you're planning to make it your main meal, I recommend eating beforehand.

I made a reservation for seven people at PALAPA, but when we arrived, the host informed me that someone had canceled our reservation. As a result, we were given poor seating for our group. The manager ended up moving us three times in the last hour during our show. I don’t understand why our reservation was canceled in the first place, especially since I had planned this as a special birthday celebration for my daughter. Everyone felt awful about the situation. I cannot recommend hosting a large gathering at this place; the staff doesn’t value your time or feelings. It was a very disappointing experience for my family and me. It was nothing short of a disaster.
