What H dislikes about Mofongos:
My dish mofongo with spicy crab was quite nice. Not great, but nice. The novelty played a part; I wouldn 't order it a second time. Three plantains were good. The pork in my friend 's dish traditional plate was stringy and chewy. And the side wasn 't too good either. The service was bad and slow, and they tried to get two tips off me: one that they added by default and they suggested me an additional one.My food is the... Great place, service and atmosphere! The food is with puertorican flavor ? and piña colada was really good too. When we finish and paid they gave us a shot of coquito and was delicious! Everything was great!Food: 5/5

Feel free to try other options, there are tons in the area.
The decor radiates a genuine Caribbean and Puerto Rican charm, creating a relaxed ambiance reminiscent of Old San Juan. The staff treated us like honored guests, offering great suggestions from their bestsellers, which enhanced our enjoyment of the evening. Now, let's discuss the food—an incredible array of flavors that truly embodies Puerto Rican cuisine. Seeing the Mofongos served in the Pilon was a feast for the eyes and instantly transported us to the streets of Puerto Rico. The Churrasco a la Parrilla was cooked flawlessly, while the Trifongo Mixto delighted our palates with its delightful combination of flavors and textures. The Mofongo de Camarones was a beautiful blend of shrimp and mofongo, creating a satisfying dish that fulfilled our cravings. Mofongo Miami's diverse menu has something for everyone, featuring a plethora of mouthwatering options. We simply couldn't resist trying their signature Piña Colada, creatively served in a pineapple; it was a refreshing treat that we thoroughly enjoyed during our meal. While the food was undeniably delicious, I did find that some dishes were a bit on the salty side, which affected the overall experience slightly. As a result, I’m giving it a rating of 4 stars. Considering the generous portion sizes and the overall dining experience, the prices at Mofongo Miami are quite reasonable, making it a fantastic value. We left the restaurant feeling satisfied and even had leftovers to enjoy later. Located on Calle 8, Mofongo Miami is surrounded by a rich cultural atmosphere and lively music, enhancing the entire dining experience. In conclusion, Mofongo Miami left a lasting impression with its inviting ambiance, friendly service, and authentic flavors. Whether you're a long-time fan of Puerto Rican cuisine or just curious about it, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Just be ready for a flavorful adventure that might have a touch of saltiness along the way!
Fantastic service! I was in search of a good Puerto Rican restaurant and decided to give this place a try. It served one of the best mofongos I’ve had in Florida! I highly recommend this restaurant; they made me feel right at home.
