We had a great experience at this restaurant, thanks to the friendly service. Our group of nine included five kids, and our waitress was incredibly kind and engaging. The fried shrimp appetizer was a highlight—absolutely delicious! My toddler, who is usually a picky eater, couldn't get enough of them, which is saying a lot. The kids' chicken tenders were also good, although he was too full by the time they arrived. I... View all feedback.
What Wendy A doesn't like about Longhorn Steakhouse:
These stars are dedicated for the service that we got at this place. The guy who has been working there for only three months did his best to make us Feel comfortable and help us with all our needs. From the appetizers we got I tried the stuffed mushrooms, and they were very good. my meal was the sirloin and I chose as a side, the mac cheese, which they were very good, the steak was tasty, not tenderness, and the cor... Went for my birthday with a free dessert coupon. The food was good but the rack of ribs was somewhat overcooked and the ends burnt. The strawberry shortcake was delicious however the highlight was the server, Manuel F. Manuel (I dont know him) was professional, friendly, proper and a great asset to the restaurant. I wish him well.
We have a tradition of getting dinner here on Tuesdays after school (this is the closest longhorn to fiu. The New York strip with broccoli and sweet potato is my go-to order and it ALWAYS hits. The meat is always hefty and cooked to perfection. The broccoli here is so good I find myself craving it. Best steak dinner for $23

This restaurant is situated along the main corridor for eateries and of course the competition is fierce. My son likes the steaks from this place, and I decided to go to Doral this time rather than my usual location. The venue was just opening, and got the table was right away. Faith, our server, was very professional and made you feel welcome. She took our order right away and served the table quicker than most places I regularly visit. Now, the good and bad news. The food was good and bad. Two of the dishes we ordered were not up to par with what we are accustomed to. The onion soup was not hot with a larger than usual layer of cheese. The steak, although it was asked for well done, it was on the chard side, and of course, it dries the meat faster. The cook needs to pay close attention to temperatures. The reason for the 4 stars was because of the initial contact and the server, which catered to everything we asked for. The constant refills and making sure we were always satisfied. Had it not been for that, easily a two to a two and a half stars.
Wanted to do a family BDay near the home. So we went to make reservation for a Sunday night, they don't take reservations, but we were advised on the phone, to go to the website put our name on the wait list. We arrived was seated immediately. We had a waitress that was working on her 2nd day, so I won't get into the service, because she was trying kind. We ordered drinks, appetizers, salads, lobster/shrimp soup, filet mignon, rib eye steaks sides of loaded potato, honey fire roasted brussel sprouts. The steaks were cooked perfectly the entire meal was delicious. I was surprised when we got our bill it was well priced for good quality. approx $100 tip. for 3 adults. Definitely nice to go to good chain restaurant have a good meal for a good price.
