Contribute FeedbackLocated in the newly rebranded Novotel Miami Brickell, LIMA offers a blend of Peruvian cuisine and skyline views. While the Miami Spice menu delights with dishes like salmorejo and mango sorbet, the overall atmosphere feels more like a hotel lobby than a restaurant. Service levels vary significantly; some patrons praised attentive waitstaff, while others faced delays and inadequate attention. Several diners reported issues with food quality, including overcooked salmon. Despite its charm and occasional highlights, diners are advised to pay in cash and manage expectations surrounding both service and ambiance.
The menu was disappointing and not worth the time or money. The online menu is outdated and inaccurate since the restaurant is under new management. The service was lacking and the food was subpar. It was an overall frustrating experience.
LIMA is located in the recently rebranded Novotel (formerly Atton) Miami Brickell Hotel. The restaurant offers Peruvian cuisine in a charming dining space with a view of the Brickell Skyline through a glass wall. We enjoyed a great value Miami Spice menu that included salmorejo with prosciutto, tasty chicken breast with polnta and cale, and a delightful mango sorbet, all at a reasonable price. The Prisco Sauer cocktail was also quite good. The service was friendly and attentive.
It's not called LIMA anymore. When the hotel changed chains, they closed LIMA and opened a small restaurant next to the lobby bar called UVA.
We arrived at our reservation time at LIMA and stood at the entrance for some time. We saw a few servers, but no one would even make eye contact with us. There were only a few tables w/guest so they were not busy. After a few minutes without attention we went to the hotel bar. We asked a waiter if we could sit there and eat. He said they had the same menu, so we decided to eat in the bar. The bar service was good. Our waiter tried to dispense with the lack of service we received from LIMA. He did it well. The food was, however, best acceptable. My salmon was over boiled after I had just asked to cook medium, and my husband's shrimps were so hard that he could not pick up the tails.
The service was great and the food was decent. Our server, Rosangela, was incredibly kind.
