Great Mofongo ! The steak sandwich was juicy , allowing the bread to suck up the taste , served perfect ... bread did not dissolve but rather held on ! A lot of vegetables surprisingly. The steak was made well. My lady got the jerk chicken. She couldn't stop talking about it. I got she guava cheese cake also. Was good.
I’ve been a few times and tried many dishes. It’s all good, but nothing really blew me away (except their amazing guava cheesecake). I know they’re rated the best mofongo in Miami, but you can find wayyyy better if you get out of touristy Wynwood. There’s quite a few authentic Puerto Rican restaurants around town, you just gotta explore a bit. I like this place, just don’t love it.
The service was good and the food was as well. The guava and cheese ball appetizer was a fun experience. I had the club sandwich and enjoyed it's dressing overall. I am disappointed I didn't try their mofongo however seeing how they claim to have the best in the area. Oh well, now I have a reason to come back.
Not very helpful or friendly at the checkout counter. The checkout girl was laying on the kitchen counter beside the beer. Extremely fast service. The food was delicious. Enjoyed the steak frites, roasted Cuban mojo pork, la tripleta, and seared ahi special. Coconut and caramel flan for dessert. They were out of the bread pudding. Free water and cups at the center condiment island.
