Honest unpaid legit review: the food is sooo good. Thee best rice and peas I 've ever had besides my grandma 's. The stew chicken meal was very flavorful. I always order extra for the next day. I went to eat at this restaurant. After returning to my hotel and opening the food, I found that the cabbage was spoiled and sour. I called to inform them and all they said was ok, thank you. How can you sell spoiled food to customers? I don't like leaving negative reviews, but it's important for others to be aware of what they are purchasing. View all feedback.
I really enjoyed my curry goat to go plenty of flavor and a bit of spice. It was such a large portion I had leftovers for dinner. I like that they include the plantain not everyone does. I'd definitely go back

To my disappointment, Uber refused to refund my money because the cancellation indicated that I had called to cancel. This was all the money I had at the time, and a friend had to use their credit card so I could feed myself and my child, as my paycheck had not arrived on time. What upset me even more was the nonchalant attitude of the staff and their lack of concern for the difficult situation they had put me in. Now, I find myself without food for my child, no way to get a refund, and having to work a double shift on Thanksgiving while worrying about feeding my child and myself. This was a terrible experience, especially right before a family holiday. I caution others to be careful when ordering from this restaurant as I will not be returning. The way they handled the situation, with the support of Uber, and their lack of empathy for their customers has completely turned me off from ever returning. The negative energy and lack of care at this establishment is not something I want to be a part of or support.
The restaurant needs to improve their customer service as it was not friendly, in fact, it was quite rude. The woman at the cash register was not welcoming and assumed I was inquiring about the price of ox tail when I mentioned I had a question. I wanted to know if they cooked their ox tails with sugar due to my dietary restrictions. Additionally, the restaurant does not have a bathroom.
The staff is very friendly, greeting customers as they enter even if they are busy. This level of courtesy is rare these days. I have dined here twice in the past 2 weeks and the food not only smelled delicious, but it was consistently flavorful, high quality, and generous portions. The restaurant is clean and cozy, making it a place I enjoy visiting regularly.
