Amazing authentic Mexican food. The food was delicious and the attention was great. The server was on a Saturday evening itself and still managed to deliver great service. We found our new favorite Mexican restaurant in Miami! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Maguey Taquero Mucho Mexican Cuisine:
Overpriced. Have Carnitas with tortillas, etc., a pound of meat, as advertised, but not a pound, with, $33, with onion, Zilantro, small tortillas, some hot sauce, and the pig had some sauce on it. Deception. Not back. View all feedback.

What a terrible experience! Please note the worst Mexican food in Miami. I'm a Mexican food lover. Asked for 3 Carnitas Tacos coming with beans and rice, the meat was so dry that you could not eat it and the rice and beans looked like dog barf. But please relax because it's not the worst part. Estefania has no sense of customer service. I mixed the food. And then the hand in my face. Ridiculous! Even the owner's answer is Freaking RIDICULOUS???????? Time and again! And I tell all my friends about this experience.

El Maguey is a very traditional restaurant. This very small restaurant is located on a very busy shopping center on Bird road... parking during lunch hours is a bit difficult but there are always a few spots open.... for dinner is much easier to park. I came here for a quick lunch... after all.... is Taco tuesday! Had a small Guacamole with chips and a trio of tacos... carnitas, al pastor and borrego. It all comes with rice and beans for like $11.00 The guacamole was very good. Nice and chunky and very flavorful. Tacos also very tasty and it was plentiful for a lunch... maybe next time I will skip the Guac and go straight to tacos or enchiladas. Michelada beer with Modelo was very refreshing and spicy. I think that was like 5 bucks. Overall it is a nice place... inexpensive and yet very comfortable and warming atmosphere. It has a little bar area and a TV for music videos all day long. Service was courteous and friendly. Only one person for the dinning room... but since it wasn't packed it was all they needed.
Good food, freshly made salsa and chips. And very pleasant young lady serving us. Surprising discovery for this little shopping strip.
