The place was closed and we were not informed. It was a party of 8 people celebrating a birthday. We would have appreciated if we would have been informed that the place is closed and no one picks up the phone.
I did the reservation, we arrived 10 minutes before to sit, the girl was rude and don't even give our table so we can sit, she told us this website is not working with the restaurant system
We were in town for the Orange Bowl and searching for an authentic Brazilian restaurant when we discovered Bar D-A Vila. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was even better! Our waiter was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel like the entire staff was focused on our needs. My wife, who is Brazilian, said it felt just like being back in Belo Horizonte. We tried several dishes, and everything was delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of Miami for a little getaway within the city. Five stars all around—we will definitely be returning!
We made a reservation on open table but when we arrived they were closed. Luckily there are two restaurants next to it that accommodated us.
I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised by how great this place was! I expected it to be just another Brazilian restaurant like the ones I've been to before, but it was much better! First off, the restaurant is situated in a charming little village in Downtown Miami. It has a cozy atmosphere with seating both indoors and outdoors. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food? Absolutely fantastic! We tried coxinha, pastel, mandioca, and bolinho de queijo, and they were all delightful—so crunchy (the crunchiest I've ever had!) and not greasy at all, which is often my expectation with fried dishes. I will definitely be returning! Hats off to the staff for their wonderful service and to the chef for the delicious food. See you soon!
