I absolutely love this place! The bread is incredibly soft and delicious. I used to work in the same building as this restaurant and often came down for lunch. Years later, when I returned to the area for work, I stopped by for lunch again, and the owner remembered me from all those years ago! Since it's connected to a Carvel ice cream parlor, my coworkers and I used to go there for weekly ice cream specials. The owner even remembered most of my coworkers! I really enjoyed the sandwiches back then, and they're just as good now. I highly recommend this place for both sandwiches and ice cream!
The staff member wasn't very friendly, but this was my first Blimpie sub, and I'm already a fan. If the bread is consistently this soft and fresh every time I visit, I'll definitely become a regular!
I've been getting subs from this place since high school, which was over 23 years ago. I always order the Blimpie's Best, and I've never been disappointed. I'll always cherish the memories of my dad bringing me Blimpie's for lunch on those days when he didn't have time to make my meal!
I luv my blimpies best my fav. The owner is so nice. I have travel a distance but well worth the distance. I have been eating this sandwich since the 80's. XO
