Feedback
Ball & Chain in Miami offers a lively atmosphere with excellent live music and delicious drinks. However, some reviewers noted higher prices for food and drinks, small portions, and cramped seating. Despite some mixed reviews, patrons appreciated the iconic location and friendly service. Highlights included delicious cocktails, fantastic live music, and a vibrant Cuban vibe. Visitors recommended it for a fun night out with friends or a unique date spot. Overall, Ball & Chain seemed to excel more in offering a great bar experience rather than as a fine dining destination in Miami's Calle Ocho district.
Stepping into this Cuban bar and restaurant felt like a direct passage to the lively streets of Havana. The vibrant ambiance, infused with the infectious beats of authentic Cuban music, immediately set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The place exuded a genuine Cuban vibe, from the décor to the atmosphere, making it an oasis that truly captures the spirit of Cuba. The menu boasted an array of mouthwatering Cuban delicacies and cocktails that were simply exceptional. The flavors were an explosion of authenticity, delivering the essence of Cuban cuisine right to the taste buds. Each dish was a delightful journey through the rich culinary heritage of Cuba, leaving a lasting impression. However, it was the music that truly stole the show. The live performances or the carefully curated playlists perfectly complemented the ambiance, enhancing the immersive experience. The rhythms of salsa, son, and mambo made it impossible to resist the urge to move and groove along.
Really enjoyed the vibe there. Tried the Miami Mule, was so-so. Call me a cooler was full of Mongo flavor and good for those who like fruit cocktail. Also coco Capa, coconut cream flavor, more like a fruit beverage. The old fashion was good. My favorite there. The food was not satisfactory unfortunately. Not a fan of over friend food so didn’t like the food much. Will come and visits again next time to Miami.
Every time I visit Miami, I make sure I visit Ball Chain. There's always something going on there and on a hot day, their cold, crisp, refreshing Mojitos always hit the spot. It's a perfect place to take a break and hang out. Plenty of opportunities to people watch, listen to music, and get together with friends!
Nice place to visit but pretty expensive. When you add the “service charge” and then the gratuity and then the Tax it worked out at $23 for two drinks. Still has got an atmosphere and seemed like the happening place in Little Havana
Hats off to Robert our great waiter. Delicious mojitos but we didn’t know they were $14 when we ordered them. ???? Food was delicious. Music was great! Wish it lasted past 9pm. Such an iconic location and a must for visitors to Miami. This kind couplewho are locals bought us a drink just to be nice. ???? So glad we came!!! ????
