This restaurant has been around for a while, and I’m surprised it took me so long to try it out. It’s one of the best Thai spots in Miami and truly a hidden gem. I visited for lunch on a weekday, and the atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for enjoying a meal. The portions are generous, and it’s rare to find a Thai restaurant where you actually sweat when you order something "Thai hot." I highly recommend the Tom Kha... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Thai Cafe:
In the past two months, my daughter and I have dined at the Thai Café at least twice a week. It's a bit pricey, but my daughter really enjoys it. However, tonight we ordered two JB Rolls along with other dishes, and the rolls tasted quite off—the rice was undercooked and had an unpleasant texture. I informed the waitress, who communicated the issue to the cook, who may be the owner. Unfortunately, he didn't offer any... View all feedback.
Very good Thai and Sushi restaurant in Miami Lake's struggling Main Street shopping center. Good service. Fair prices. Delicious and large Thai and Japanese menu
My friend and I were looking for somewhere in Miami Lakes with good sushi, and ended up deciding to try Thai Cafe. Despite it being a Thai restaurant, they had sushi on their menu so we gave them a try. We ordered 4 rolls Thai Cafe Roll, Dragons Roll which were both delicious. The Beauty and the Beast Roll which was half tuna, half eel and was very refreshing. Then we ordered the Volcano Roll which was surprisingly amazing! It's a mixed seafood Roll with masago and spicy mayo, and came with steaming hot seafood on top. I highly recommend trying them out for sushi if you're in the area. (We didn't eat any of their Thai dishes so I can't comment on those). Prices were reasonable too!
With my son and his fiance, eating here years ago because I lived across the street. Returned for the first time in several years. Food is delicious as always. Thai sate Chicken for appetizer, Dancing eel roll, curried chicken, sushi, and fried rice.
Waiter, there's a hair in my soup! Also, they told me the soup that comes with the lunch specials is for dine in only but this was not mentioned when I called. The website also has the wrong prices.
This is probably the best Asian restaurant in Miami Lakes, there are other really good, but this one is my favorite. From the sushi, the rices, noodles to the coconut curries; everything is excellent. Not fancy, but excellent food and reasonable price. I definitively recommend them!
