Description

Koa Poke and Burrito has garnered a mix of reactions. While many praise its fresh ingredients, particularly the poke bowls and acai options, concerns over portion sizes and pricing persist. Diners note that bowls often emphasize rice over toppings, leading to disappointment, especially given the hefty price tags. The ambiance is likened to a cantina rather than a refined eatery, though friendly service and cleanliness receive commendations. For those with dietary restrictions, the customizable bowl option is a highlight. Overall, while Koa offers promising dishes, guests debate whether it’s worth the cost.

Koa is next to the hotel where I stayed, and I thought it was perfect, as I had already read about it. I had several meals there, at different times of the day, and I can say it was great. The Poke is sensational, and the açaí is not far behind.

PICTURES 2/3 are from another place.Great disappointment. I’m from San Antonio and a huge fan of poke bowls. First thing we noticed-price. 20$ for 2 scoops bowl is a lot but it might be good, we thought. However, not only they don’t have a lot add-ons options, they also not trying to fill the bowl with available ones. Cashier literally was counting slices of radish she put on, like come on, its 90cents per lb. ??And you’re counting slices. Bowl was half full and 3/4 of this bowl was rice. For reference, pics 2/3 thats how you get 2 scoops in SA for 13$. I’m not comparing prices here, its Miami. But we definitely didn’t expect the bowl to be made that poorly for this money. Pure robbery. Def won’t be back ever again
