A group of us went there for dinner celebrating a birthday it had been recommended by friends that live in the area. There were 11 of us most from overseas however we did have one in the party that spoke fluent French. As the restaurant has set menus when it came to ordering the waiter stood at the end of the table calling out for us to put up our hands when he called out what we wanted. This was a recipe for disaster firstly to get all 11 to hear and although the waiter had limited English and we did have one of our party that spoke French it was messy and the waiter was clearly frustrated with us all. It would have been far better to ask each individual separately for their order as we all knew what we wanted as it had been explained to us from the member of our party that spoke French Hence when the food arrived some were missing and people had to wait. One of our friends asked for butter for his bread now although we know it is not the French way it was a simple request and being a customer and clearly from overseas thought would not be an issue. We were not prepared for what happened next the waiter bought a large pack of butter still fully wrapped and dumped it in front of the person that requested it. Firstly we thought it was a joke and thought one of us had set it up as the person loved butter but then we realised it was not this was the way they thought was acceptable to serve it. The attitude of the waiter was rude it was like he was paying us back for the mix up of the meals from there on in. One of our party questioned him on why the butter had been served like that and a very flippant arrogant reply came back. From here on in the mood of the table changed this had put a dampener on the whole evening. Two people when the second course was served had to wait because the order had gone in incorrectly. The service really let the food down they were slow rude and our waiter clearly had no time for us. Overall a bad experience would I recommend or go back no. There are so many better choices in this area of restaurants
