Unfortunately, our recent exper... read more We’ve been to this place many times in the past and it used to be a fantastic, upmarket restaurant with consistently great food. Unfortunately, our recent experience was very disappointing. After posting this review, the owner replied saying we picked the wrong place and that the restaurant had already closed a year ago. To clarify, yes — we had visited before it closed, and that’s exactly why the drop in quality was so noticeable to us. The food at that time had declined significantly, with issues like fish served with bones and a strong fishy taste, which shouldn’t happen at that level. The overall standard, service, and even atmosphere had clearly changed before closure. It’s a shame, as it used to be one of our go-to spots, but the final experience left a very different impression. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: Rp 250,000+

Waiting time between meals was very long with staff standing around in groups talking with no attention to customers like ourselves mind you there were only THREE tables of customers ! . No attention to drinks at all.The most disappointing aspect was the food . Very heavy on Indian food choices and the food itself is lacking that special spark of superior quality this restaurant once had. Actually, the food served up was in our opinion table of three just ordinary at best.Was once a restaurant I would recommend as one of the best I 've eaten anywhere in the world , now I am sorry to say , I wouldn 't recommend it to anyone.
